On May 17, I was happy to be an integral part of the Kamiak High School 2014 Senior Ball, helping the Seniors of Kamiak celebrate their 12-year achievement at Experience Music Project's Sky Church, Seattle's most cutting edge venue. There was electricity in the air, and everybody stayed, and danced, til the end. The whole evening could perhaps best be summed up by the timeless words of rapper Q-Tip, as heard at the end of Midnight Marauders: "See I like to get down, Jack". And get down we did...
