Disco Royale founder Kevin Olson aka DJ Dexter Fremont worked for years in radio at Seattle's KCMU, before cracking the Seattle club scene at the legendary Backdoor Ultra Lounge, where folks routinely queued up around the block to groove to Dexter's incendiary sets. Disco Royale was born when the owner of The Crocodile Cafe invited Kevin to spin at her club's Christmas Party in 1997. Before long Kevin found himself spinning at many of Seattle's prime venues, including Sky Church, The Showbox, The Arctic Dome Room and scores of other exceptional  venues. Disco Royale filled a niche to provide a quality alternative to cookie-cutter DJ outfits and cliche tunes, and, some 27 years and 500 successful events later, we are still meeting that demand.
